William Klein
攝影家 William Klein，1928 年出生於美國紐約的猶太家庭，擅長時尚及街頭攝影，經常在媒材及拍攝方式上進行攝影實驗，其獨特的影像風格樹立起街拍的典範，影響了森山大道等日後的攝影師。
William Klein 小時候便嶄露對藝術的喜愛，14 歲時進入 City College of New York 主修社會學，第二次世界大戰期間他加入美軍，前往德國及法國前線作戰。戰後，他於 1948 年前往法國就讀索邦大學，隨後開始向藝術家 Fernand Léger 學習繪畫，並對抽象畫及雕塑相當感興趣。1952 年在米蘭兩次成功的個展讓他開啟了與建築師 Angelo Mangiarotti 的合作，共同進行許多機動藝術（kinetic art）相關的實驗。
