In this ever-changing world of 21st century, where technology constantly evolves, information such as sounds, images, and words takes the form of light, fleeting before our eyes, serving as stimuli for our senses. Among the massive number of images passing us by, our attention might have been drawn to a photo of refugee migration, a village stricken by tsunami, or the exploitation of natural resources in a third world country. However, it rarely falls upon everyday matters surrounding us. To the people in the images, that is their daily life. What about our daily lives? In the hustle and bustle of the city, people are great at pushing through their life, but rarely do they practice observing the stories that go around it.

5 km/hr is a comfortable speed between walking and jogging, brisk but not hasty; at the same time, it’s the speed limit of my wheelchair. The Creator poured a soul full of curiosity into this shell of mine, and gifted it the extraordinary capacity to take it slow. Since then, I’ve been practicing day after day, observing this daily life of ours from my unique angle.
