This playful, one-of-a-kind zine designed by Seri Tanaka is a collection of visual works by French artist Johanna Tagada Hoffbeck. The publication also includes an essay and archival images from the Welcome Collection.

What if God was an insect? was published in conjunction with the exhibition of the same title at Ao-Hata Bookstore (Fukuoka, Japan) in May 2021. The publication is bound by cotton staples and has several distinctive finishes, amongst which its Japanese format.
