SKELETON KEY PRESS, based in Oslo, Norway, is an independent publisher of photography and art books established in 2018 by Russell Joslin following his 17-year tenure as Owner, Editor, and Publisher of the photography journal Shots. During those years, Joslin developed and refined his distinct editing style, often characterized by an emphasis on sequencing and narrative tone. Additionally, Joslin brings his knowledge and experience in publishing, editing, photography, curation, and book design to SKP. He works directly with artists to produce beautifully crafted photography books and monographs that embody the artist’s voice and represent an enduring expression of their practice. Quality, attention to detail, and firsthand cooperation with artists are emphasized in all phases of the process.
