HARUMI GALS is an art book published by HIOSHINA, featuring the paintings of pinup girls by Harumi Yamaguchi since 1973. The pinup girls known as "HARUMI GALS”, became an icon representing the women's social advancement during the high economic growth of Japan in 70-80’s. Yamaguchi’s fashionable and fresh looking girls were highly appreciated as “pin-up girls created by female artist”, likewise MOMA (NY) acquired her work. This art book contains 115 works and a text by an art critic Noi Sawaragi.
