This fourteenth issue presents the meticulous work of the ‘script continuity supervisor’ on a film set.
On set every detail from every shot has to be noted - camera angles, dialogue, sound, lighting, weather, actions, gestures and of course make-up and wardrobe. A gruesome battle scene may take days to shoot, so the costumes of the actors and extra’s and their accumulating wounds are photographed to ensure they can be accurately recreated the following day.
So the bloody pictures you’re looking at is actually a glimpse into the less glamorous side of a Hollywood production, the side that’s without good lighting and all sorts of flattering post-production.
