This is the fourth Dashwood Book of Marcopoulos’s. Ari is an inter- esting artist to collaborate with as he is always interested in experi- menting with the book form, he is prolific but his work is of a con- sistently high quality. In this publication I wanted a color book as a counterpoint to his earlier book “Even the President of the United States sometimes has got to stand naked” to reflect his move to the east coast and the ongoing interplay between home, work and the road. “Whether at home or traveling there is constant visual input. As an image-maker one is asked to make distinctions and decisions on what to extract. Having been involved in this practice for over 30 years, I started to try and free myself from even my own expectations.” AM
