The 14th issue of Osaka-based photography magazine “Vacuum” features series by ten photographers on over 180 pages.

Presented entirely in black and white, with as little text as possible and every square inch covered in photographs, the magazine serves as an outlet to promote and explore the possibilities of street photography in Japan.

The series included in “Vacuum 14” are “Rhizomes on the ground” by Ryosuke Koshino, “Seoul 2023.12.13-12.27” by Hsuan Lang Lin, “roadside eyes” by Ryohji Tsuchiya, “‘Mikata’ of humans 8” by Mei Hirano, “Nicotine Ballad” by Shogo Yamada, “Utopia” by Nagisa Goto, “stroll 1” by Yuka Matsusita, “1980” by Jun Abe, “Droopy” by Kotone Taniguchi, “Etude 3” by Takuya Suzuki, and “Fes” by Yuko Hirano.
