Martin Parr

1952年出生於英國埃普索姆，紀實攝影家Martin Parr以親密、諷刺的視角，拍攝了當代英國的各個社會階層，經常使用特寫鏡頭，以微距鏡頭及飽和的色彩，正視拍攝對象的生活與環境。他採用近乎人類學式的方法，以接近但不介入的距離呈現人物的面貌。「我不斷探索的基本事物是地方的神話與現實之間的區別。」――對於現實的探索是他創作的初衷，同時也是影像的基調。 14歲時便立志要成為攝影家，Martin Parr受到爺爺、同時也是業餘攝影家George Parr的影響，決心投入攝影創作。1970至1972年間於曼徹斯特工藝學院（Manchester Polytechnic）學習攝影。在1980年代徹底革新了英國攝影界的技術與風格，並於1994年獲選為馬格蘭攝影通訊社成員。 1975年完成了首個攝影作品《The Non-Conformists》，Martin Parr花了五年的時間拍攝英國西約克郡的鄉村生 Read more...
