IMA Vol.37: The Voices of Photographers on Nature and Environment
It has been a while since we were first told that environmental issues need immediate attention. The urgency equally affects both the developed and developing countries; in any time, humanity may be given a red card to leave the ground, so-called Earth. Many photographers have begun to react, trying to change this situation. They know that what many words can’t convey, one image may eloquently speak. Not limiting themselves to documentary photography, they have taken on numerous approaches to raise their voices through compelling photographic expression. Art cannot stop global warming nor take away the trash in the ocean, but we want you to sense its ability to shift people’s conscious and to push them into action, through the photographs we present you here.
